KAPTLD also recognises the important role and value the business sector would contribute in TB care and control. To this end KAPTLD partners with GBC health and the DLTLD to advocate for integration of TB into HIV or health workplace programmes. Some of the interventions in this include TB awareness talks within the workplace, implementation of basic infection control measures, intensified case finding for TB provision of TB treatment services, DOT at the workplace and TB/HIV activities.

The informal sector has also been brought on board and mainly working with the public transport (matatu) industry, KAPTLD and partners have engaged the crews as ambassadors of behaviour change within the industry. Infection control measures in the public transport industry are mainly advocated for with simple
infection control messages passed on to passengers.

300 companies in Nairobi, Mombasa and Naivasha have been supported to develop and implement TBprogrammes and 3,046 matatu crews engaged.

Why should I upgrade to Internet Explorer 7? Microsoft has redesigned Internet Explorer from the ground up, with better security, new capabilities, and a whole new interface. Many changes resulted from the feedback of millions of users who tested prerelease versions of the new browser. The most compelling reason to upgrade is the improved security. The Internet of today is not the Internet of five years ago. There are dangers that simply didn't exist back in 2001, when Internet Explorer 6 was released to the world. Internet Explorer 7 makes surfing the web fundamentally safer by offering greater protection against viruses, spyware, and other online risks.
